“The Return of the Soldiers,” begins with the military leaders discussing the recent events that have transpired. They worry about the future of the country and what they should do next. Meanwhile, Olivier and Buccaneer continue to investigate the mystery of the underground tunnels.Ed and Al arrive at Central HQ where they meet Mustang and Hawkeye. They inform Mustang of the true nature of the Homunculi and their father’s plans. Mustang realizes they need to stop Dad from completing his plan, but first they need to get more information on his whereabouts.The scene then shifts to Fort Briggs where Miles and Kimblee discuss the recent events. Kimblee reveals that he was once an alchemist for the military and that he was involved in the Ishvalan War. Miles is shocked and disgusted by this revelation and demands to know more about Kimblee’s past.Later, Ed, Al, Mustang, Hawkeye and Armstrong gather to discuss their next move.
