Summary:
“The Seven Deadly Sins”, the story continues with Edward and Alphonse Elric, along with their allies Scar and May Chang, continuing their search for the elusive Homunculi. Meanwhile, Colonel Mustang and his team investigate the suspicious deaths of high-ranking military officials.While searching for clues, the group discovers a secret underground laboratory belonging to the Homunculi. There they come face to face with the Homunculi themselves, who are revealed to be based on the Seven Deadly Sins.The first Homunculus he encounters is Lust, who is defeated by Scar’s alchemy. He then encounters Gluttony, who is able to swallow them all with his powerful mouth. However, they are saved by the arrival of a mysterious figure who turns out to be Ling Yao, a prince from the Eastern Xing Nation.Ling explains that he is looking for a way to become immortal and has come to the lab to find the Philosopher’s Stone, which he believes can grant him eternal life. Ling joins forces with the Elric brothers and their allies to continue their search for the Homunculi and the Philosopher’s Stone.The chapter ends with the reveal of the last Homunculus, Envy, who takes the form of a young boy and taunts the group, knowing their deepest regrets and desires.
