Summary:
We begin by sacrificing the Ishbalans to create the Philosopher’s Stone. Elsewhere, the Ishbalan War is underway; not only the fighters, but also the elderly, women and children are detained by Armstrong and killed by the soldiers. Armstrong tries to help the two Ishbalans escape, but they are kidnapped by… Kimbley. After more kills (by Ishbalan and Roy) we’re back at the camp where the regular soldiers are talking about how scary the alchemists are. Hughes and Roy reunite and talk about a few things. While they are outside, they are ambushed by Ishbalan, who is presumed dead, but is shot down by Hawkeye. Later that night, Roy and Hawkeye meet again. Elsewhere, Marcoh delivers the Philosopher’s Stone to Kimbley. Out with Dr. They speak Knox. We cut back to Roy and Hawkeye talking about their doubts. And on the last page, Scar’s brother notices something strange about American alchemy.
